Modern Design Cabinetry created a beautiful updated kitchen for us. For years, my husband and I discussed remodeling the basic, worn kitchen in our 1989 house. We both bake and cook a lot. We envisioned a kitchen that was lovely and efficient. When we began researching cabinetry options, we looked for quality-built cabinetry and the option to have help with design. After our first visit to the Modern Design Cabinetry showroom, we knew Modern Design was our choice. We are delighted with the work they did for us. Nichole, one of two interior designers at Modern Design, was wonderful. She worked with us from her initial visit through the whole process. She was a great listener and a creative problem solver and offered design suggestions that seemed just right. We are very pleased with every design decision we made, including wood choice and color, accessible and abundant storage, and hardware that is a delight to see and touch. Brian, who was our project manager/draftsman, also excelled at listening and problem solving. He was a concise communicator, with attention to detail and a kind personality. Because of Nichole and Brian’s expertise, we have more accessible storage in our kitchen than we could have imagined possible. Russ and his crew were meticulous in their cabinetry installation. I appreciated their positive attitudes, thorough work, and the care they took with our existing wood floors. Everyone who worked with us, from Kristi, who greeted us at the showroom on our initial visit, to the two-person crew who carefully delivered our new cabinets and organized them on our living room floor to await installation, was an outstanding representative of Modern Design Cabinetry. We think of them with thanksgiving when we look at the beautiful cabinets they made for us. We recommend this outstanding company!

We specifically loved all the recommendations they provided to get the best form without sacrificing function on our media cabinet with attached desk. We can't recommend Modern Design enough!

Modern Design Cabinetry built and installed a large bar, bookcases and bathroom vanity for my basement renovation. I found MDC after seeing their work on another project. Within a fews weeks they had come out to take rough measurements, discuss generally what I needed and sent me a drawing of the cabinets along with what I believe to be a very reasonable quote. I needed a cabinet built specifically for home theater equipment, a couple cabinets had large HVAC vents routed under them, a unique bar layout, and a specific door panel design. They delivered on all of it and everything was custom. Install was also smooth and the installers were able to make a few adjustments once they started. Highly recommended.

We highly recommend Modern Design Cabinetry. Our new kitchen cabinets look wonderful. We had an old outdated kitchen and wanted new updated look. The whole experience from the first appointment to the installation was great. Modern Design Cabinetry was very professional and gave us everything we asked for and more. They really listened to what we wanted and gave suggestions where needed. We looked at many contractors and cabinet makers. So glad we went with Modern Design! From design to install and the finished product and punch list, my wife and I are so happy with your product and service. As I mentioned to Troy this morning, once we saw how great the cabinets looked in our new kitchen, we went ahead with the remodel of additional space and cabinets. It’s also so nice, that we look forward to redoing the rest of the house once we are up for the logistical challenge!

Modern Design was amazing to work with from the design process to install! The designer came into our home, listened to what we wanted and designed the perfect set of family room cabinets, center island and mudroom cubbies. The person who measured made several trips to the house to be sure measurements were EXACT and he was right on! The installers were professional and so great to have in our home. I know there are also many people behind the scenes that I did not meet but did amazing work. Overall, Modern is a fantastic company that prioritizes the customer and creates a quality product.

We had a wonderful experience using Modern Design for our kitchen cabinets. Everyone we worked with during the project was great! The designer was able to fine tune the drawings we came up with and helped us understand how we could get the look we wanted. We had a very specific idea of what we wanted for the wood grain and stain color and the designer and drafter/project manager were able to get it all just right. We also appreciated the customizable storage and organizational options that were available. The installers were fantastic as well. Everything was so well made and installed perfectly. We are so happy we decided to go with Modern Design for our project.

We had a very small kitchen lacking of functionality. Modern Design stepped in and helped my dream kitchen come to life! I look around and still can't believe it's mine! The pricing was just slightly more then it would have been to simply refresh the existing cabinetry, and a whole lot better. I will definitely be using Modern Design again for my bathroom remodels. Custom cabinetry done perfectly. We hired this company to do our entire house which included these areas kitchen, guest bath, master bath, master closet, laundry room. We had to deal with maximizing every inch we have in our 2,300 sq ft home and the people that helped us achieve this is modern design cabinets. We compared them with multiple semi custom shops and the thing is they came in maybe a couple hundred dollars more every time vs semi custom so of course it was a no brainier to go full custom when you can get whatever your mind can imagine they can achieve, down to functionality, color, space maximizing etc. So if you are thinking of hiring them I would say do it! You will be impressed.

Great Workmanship And Service! Modern Design built and installed the cabinets for a complete renovation of our home. Our home's style is modern which is particularly challenging from a fabrication and installation standpoint. The clean and simple lines leave no way to cover up or distract from issues. Modern Design provided extensive kitchen cabinetry, as well as multiple custom wardrobe style closets, multiple buffets, and a completely new set of bookcases and shelves for our new fireplace.
The quality is absolutely unbelievable. Everything is rock solid, and veneers are beautifully matched. Whether visitors have a background in design/construction or not, they are wowed by what they see.
If we ever do another project, these guys will get our business!
