New Cabinetry Showroom, Online Tool

Modern Design has doubled the size and displays in its downtown Cologne showroom and introduced an interactive online selections tool that makes it easier than ever for Minnesota contractors, designers and their clients to visualize and choose custom cabinetry for their homes and businesses.

The expanded physical showroom and interactive Design Center now display current wood types, colors, accessories and cabinet styles. Homeowners may compare options and features such as frameless vs. face frame cabinetry styles and standard vs. soft-close drawers. Modern Design cabinet door styles and the most popular stain and paint colors can be viewed and experienced. The enhanced space also showcases more countertop and hardware options.

The showroom and online selections tool enable homeowners to choose cabinetry with total confidence and efficiency. Anyone considering Modern Design will receive a Client Logon password that provides access to the online Design Center.

Clients may use the tool to familiarize themselves with styles, features and terminology. They can submit their selections to receive a free estimate or just use it as a guide to become familiar with the different options that are available. Then, when they visit the physical showroom, they can view actual samples and confirm or modify their choices with the assistance of Modern Design’s Interior Designer Amber Ranzau, Allied Member ASID.

“Choosing custom cabinetry for a home or business requires a series of decisions. With the new showroom and the online Design Center tool, Modern Design clients are assured a pleasant selections experience,” Amber said.

The ample showroom also is a benefit to contractors and designers who use Modern Design for their custom cabinetry. Amber explained, “They can direct their clients to our showroom with full confidence that they will achieve precisely the look and functionality they envision. Or they can meet their clients here and use our space.”
